Application for Student Club International Activity Subsidy (Semester 114-2 / Spring 2026)

To encourage student clubs to organize activities that promote international exchange, the University provides subsidies for international activities. Eligible student clubs are welcome to apply.

Applicable Activity Period

This subsidy applies only to activities conducted during Semester 114-2.
The activity period is limited to February through June, 2026.

  • Application Period:
    February 23 (Mon) – March 13 (Fri), 2026, by 5:00 PM

  • Reimbursement Deadline:
    July 10 (Fri), 2026, by 5:00 PM

(Late submissions will not be accepted.)

I. Eligibility

  1. Applicant clubs must complete the Semester 114-2 club registration in the “New Club Information System” prior to application.

  2. Double funding is prohibited.
    Each activity may receive funding from only one University unit. If duplicate funding is identified, the granted subsidy will be recovered.

II. Subsidy Categories

1. Standard Subsidy

Applicable to the following types of activities:

  • Academic or cultural activities organized by international student clubs

  • Activities that promote interaction between local and international students

2. Special Incentive: Buddy Club Partnership

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Joint activities co-organized by two or more clubs with a signed “Buddy Club Partnership Letter of Intent (LOI)”

  • At least one of the partner clubs must be an officially registered international student club

Additional Information Required in the Project Proposal:

  • Cross-Cultural Communication Objectives: Describe the expected cross-cultural exchange outcomes of the collaborative activity

  • Division of Responsibilities Among Members of Different Nationalities: Clearly outline the roles and responsibilities of members from different nationalities

  • Contingency Plan for Cross-Cultural Conflict Resolution: Anticipate potential cultural differences or conflicts and propose concrete solutions

Subsidy Amount:

Qualified applications that provide complete information on the above three items may receive an additional 30%–60% subsidy beyond the standard approved amount, subject to review committee evaluation.

Note: The actual subsidy percentage will be determined based on the review committee’s assessment of the above components.

III. Application Procedure

Step 1: Create Application

Submit an activity application via the “New Club Information System.”

  • A separate application is required for each activity

  • For Buddy Club joint activities, all participating clubs must each submit an application

  • Applications must correspond to the same joint activity and include the same Letter of Intent (LOI)

Step 2: Email Submission

By 5:00 PM on March 13 (Fri), please email the following documents to:

Required Documents:

  1. Attachment 1: Subsidy Application Form

  2. Attachment 2: Buddy Club Partnership Letter of Intent (Special Incentive applications only)

Step 3: Notification

Approved applicants will be notified of the granted subsidy amount via email.

IV. Reimbursement Process

This subsidy adopts a post-event reimbursement system.

Please submit the following documents to the Student Activity Division by 5:00 PM on July 10 (Fri), 2026:

  1. Original Receipts

    • Valid original invoices or receipts bearing NTU Tax ID: 03734301

    • Printed copies of e-invoices with required signatures

  2. Attachment 3: Activity Report

  3. Attachment 4: Buddy Club Meeting Minutes (Special Incentive only)

    • At least one set of meeting minutes or collaboration records, prepared using the provided template, must be submitted as supporting documentation
